A MUST-READ FOR ALL DOG PARENTS…
What Is My Dog's Kibble Missing? + Why Grass Eating Shouldn’t Be Ignored
If you dog eats mostly kibble, you may find they also frequently eat grass. This is your dog's way of telling you they are MISSING nutrients such as:
But I Feed My Dog a Quality Food. Why Do They Have a Nutritional Gap?
The answer lies in how most dog food is manufactured. Dry dog food is cooked and extruded at extreme temperatures up to 350 degrees fahrenheit. This causes a dramatic drop in the nutritional value of the ingredients which become denatured. This is why you often see a long list of synthetic vitamins and minerals on the ingredient list of most dog food. Manufacturers must add back the nutrients that were lost in cooking.
Unfortunately, these added synthetic vitamins and minerals do not have the same value as nutrients derived from whole foods.
So what’s a solution to this problem?

How Do I Give Super-Greens to My Dog?
Can I share with you a very personal story? This one is hard to write without tearing up, but I’ll do my best.
This is Splash.
Splash was the inspiration behind iHeartDogs. 16 years ago, my wife and I rescued her. It turns out, she rescued us too! Through her inspiration, iHeartDogs has been able to donate over 30 million meals for homeless dogs.
Splash lived an incredibly long and healthy life. Just 2 months ago, she passed away 2 months shy of 18 years old. Huskies normally only live 12-14 years, so this is highly unusual. In fact, my veterinarian said she was the oldest husky he’d ever seen in his career!
Splash was actually the first dog to try Super-Greens! Shortly after she turned 16, I began giving her an early prototype of the supplement.
Splash continued to thrive and even at age 16 and 17 she continued to run and jump and even outlast our puppy on walks!
Here’s a video of her shortly after she turned 17!
I believe one of the reasons Splash was able to thrive to such an old age was the support she received from the Super-Greens supplement.
In honor of Splash, and to continue her legacy of helping homeless dogs, we’re pledging to donate 7 meals to shelter dogs for each purchase of the iHeartDogs Super-Greens.
